Gadgets and gizmos a plenty.
Who
Salt + Siren is for the people who wander a little after dinner instead of going straight home.
For locals who know the tides by instinct.
For visitors who accidentally fall in love with Vancouver Island.
For artists, boaters, romantics, collectors, barefoot kids, curious wanderers, and people trying to rebuild softer lives near the water.
It is for the ones who still believe places can carry energy.
That objects can hold stories.
That summer should feel memorable.
And yes — it is also for the people who buy the sweatshirt as a joke and end up emotionally attached to it a year later.
What
Salt + Siren is a small-batch coastal concept space located at the marina — part curated mercantile, part frozen drink ritual, part modern maritime folklore.
Every season evolves differently. Some vendors stay.
Some drift in temporarily like tides.
Some collaborations become traditions.
Nothing is overproduced.
Nothing is random.
Everything is intentionally gathered.
The space itself is being developed through an eco-conscious lens, with sustainability, local sourcing, low-waste practices, and B Corp-level operational values guiding future growth and product creation.
Even while certification remains aspirational, the intention is already built into the foundation: support local artisans, use local ingredients where possible, create responsibly, and grow slowly enough to do things properly.
Why
Because somewhere along the way, everything became too optimized.
Too fast.
Too polished.
Too disposable.
Salt + Siren exists as a response to that.
A reminder that people still crave atmosphere, ritual, storytelling, creativity, gathering, music, mystery, and places that feel human.
The goal was never simply to open a shop.
The goal was to create the kind of place people remember later.
The tiny marina spot they stumbled into during a summer trip.
The frozen drink they still talk about.
The strange little object they regret not buying.
The place their kids insist had mermaids nearby.
The sweatshirt that somehow became part of their identity.
Salt + Siren is about creating modern coastal folklore.
See you dockside.
